Morrowind is a fantastic RPG if you have the time for it.

So, I decided after looking at this thread, it needed editing.

Morrowind discussion, discuss about Morrowind.

Pretty straight forward really.

Tell us your Morrowind storys, cool stuff you've done ect.

Check out the wizardly people, many sell this as a spell or as a scroll. Obviously you may only want to cast mark once so a scroll should suffice-the local map marks the spot for you too, however learning the recall spell would be advantageous, as you will use it very frequently. You don't have to be great at casting spells (in the mysticism class I think) to get it to work and a little training in the appropriate Spell Class, wouldn't go amiss.

Thus I can travel around by mark/recall, intervention, teleport, silt strider and boat. Which makes getting around fairly easy.

Mark spell? How I obtain this? Usually I hit the Divine Intervention Amulet and end up in some shanty town on the coast, cue loads of Silt-Strider trips home.

The Mark and recall spells/scrolls are most usefull. I have "marked" a place next to the Mages Guild teleporter wizard lady in Vivec. Thus I can recall myself to this place from anywhere in the world and then travel onto other towns/cities via the teleport. The Divine Intervention Amulet like you say is great for getting back to society.

It's a shame that you can't mark more than one location..

I'm in the Fighter's Guild and the Imperial Cult, and whilst I'm a vampire they don't want to know - they just curse me and tell me to begone.
The Mage's Guild and House Telvanni still give me quests though.

There are quests to do as a vampire, and there IS a long term cure. I found the book which tells you how to cure vampirism in the "Berne" vampire clan's headquarters.

So yeah, I think it will screw up your current quests, but there is a long term cure.

Thanks for that, now I know where to go.
If I contract the disease and turn into a vampire, is that going to screw up my current quests? I've worked like a demon to get this far and dont want to ruin it simply to schlep around being all Max Shrek..

Right, now I'm undertaking The Oracle's quests from the Imperial Shrine in Ebonheart, anyone ever done these?
I'm currently searching for a Dunmar in Vivec to explain her riddle to me, then I'm off through the Ghostgate to search for a ring of darkness - apparently is a twisting vortex of water??

Just when I think I'm getting near to finishing a guild quest, they open up a whole new angle....

Don't know if you know, but the Quarra vampire clan [who are "fighting" vampires] are found in the Druscashti Dwemer Ruins east of Krull.

I've found that Bouyant Arminger's book which hints at how it can be done - something to do with a gem and Bal Ur. So when I've had enough of prowling the night I'll embark on that quest to cure myself, which should be good.

The only thing that annoys me is being sent to the furthest corner of the map, smite a badman and then come aaaaall the way again for next quest, only to be sent miles away again.

Good thing I've got the Divine Intervention Amulet - one shake and I'm back in civilisation.
Now high-ranked in Fighter's Guild having completed the Imperial Cult quests, last one gave me 10,000 gold for nicking some golden eggs.
I'm going to kick some vampires in next

Yes, there is one way to do this. If you can find out how...

If you do so though, you can NEVER become re-infected.

The game gets really good when you can smack Daedra up. My Nord is born again hard, his Voidripper cleves the skulls of all who laugh at the size of his helmet.
