Morrowind is a fantastic RPG if you have the time for it.

So, I decided after looking at this thread, it needed editing.

Morrowind discussion, discuss about Morrowind.

Pretty straight forward really.

Tell us your Morrowind storys, cool stuff you've done ect.

I've just about mastered this game now. My main characters skills are all 100+ from using master trainers (Although maybe a few of my skill are under 100!)...

Problem is, when can you say you have mastered morrowind?
To master morrowind would take an eternity, and by then the expansions and elder scrolls 3, 4 & 5 will be out for me to master.

Cliff Racers are so fecking annoying and gay and stupid and everywhere.

They do my head in, Being an archer dude - killing them takes a few arrows...

Any idea how to increase my Magic resistance? When I put my Boots of Blinding speed on - the screen goes totally black (affected by the blind spell on the boots.

Or an exquisite ring... or an exquisite anything come to think of it. There's usually some knocking around in Manor Houses where the so-called rich people live.

Enchanting? There's always someone in the each of the Mage's Guilds who offers "Enchanting" as a service. It'll cost you though.

There's some nickable soul gems with captured souls in them upstairs in Balmora Mage's Guild. Grab the one which is worth the most in gold. I'd get out of there pretty quick if you do steal one though, as those wizards are dangerous when they gang up on you.

Other than that you need an empty soul gem [one of the big ones], either a "soultrap" weapon or spell, cast it on a creature [say a skeleton warrior], kill creature, and when it dies you'll capture its soul in the gem.
You'll need an "open" spell in your inventory if you want to create an "open" enchanted item.

Good stuff.
Apparently I can enchant a soul gem, exquisite amulet & "open" spell to create an Amulet of Opening Doors (regardless of level)

Any idea where I'd find an exquisite amulet? And enchanting?
I'm crap at magicy beardy stuff, which is why I've ignored that aspect.Christ I feel like a newbie..

Boots of Blinding Speed - they slam up your speed level by 200pts, but they also "blind" your vision to differing degrees depending on how resistant to magic your character is.

A trader called something like "Piomenie" has them just outside Caldera to the north [I think]. Follow the signpost that says "main road to Ald'ruhn".
She wants you to escort her to some place but you can just kill her and rob her corpse as she's easy to kill.

As a vampire you can't use any of the silt-striders, boats or teleports, so [apart from the Mark/Recall spells] what I do is slip on the Boots of Blinding Speed, get out my Wizard's Staff [120 seconds levitate] and basically fly across the night sky at great speed.
And if I fly high enough, I can avoid those damn Cliff Racers.

I should also mention that I can fold space, which is the art of moving without moving. But that's not in the game, which is an oversight in my opinion.
