How wrong could I be?
Not only is what she said a load of rubbish, but it looks like Nintendo are delaying the release of the GameCube to September next year!
According to Codejunkies, who develop game enhancers for nearly every console said that a games publisher has revealed that "Europe is not a priority for Nintendo".
Tell us something we didn't already know!
I'm sure most of you already know how Nintendo treat us like dirt. The only exception being the release of the Game Boy Advance being released just after America had them. Ever since Nintendo have made videogames, they have been delaying European and sometimes American release dates. It happened with the N64, and with top games like 'Zelda: Ocarina of Time'.
So why delay the console this time?
Well it's not been confirmed by Nintendo themselves that they are going to delay it's release, but part of Grant Hughes article on Codejunkies says this:
"A spokesperson for Nintendo told MCV that no Euro launch date will be given "until after we have seen how the launches have gone in Japan and the US"."
Well the launch in Japan was a success (considering what had just happened) and I can't see Nintendo failing to reach audiences in the United States. However Nintendo will use anything to put off their launches in Europe.
The trouble with Nintendo, especialy Yamauchi (think that's how you spell his name), is that they are too confident. Nintendo keep having arguments with top developers like Squaresoft, and they keep delaying and rising the prices of their software, and yet they expect us all to be buying their consoles and games with no complaints. I will still be getting my GameCube, but if there is a massive delay as predicted, I wont be too happy with Nintendo about it.
So if you are excited about getting your GameCubes and seing all the new games and innovations, all I can suggest is: Don't hold your breath.
GTA3 is a violent game and it was fun but the friend who owns it claims the novalty wears off like Crazy Taxi i want to know is this true??????
I know which one I'd rather play.
Anyway Turbo, is that statement about getting Resi after Dringo your admittance that you're getting a Gamecube?
Well there's no other way you'll be playing Capcom's survival horror.

You can still get a GC off the

Contrast that with the European release though. Couple of consoles to feign a release in November, actually launched around three/four months later.
maybe it was the best sounding game,

Quality yes CD quality is better than Cart but if the music is naff the quality won't matter and as the PS games music never tends to be that good listen to the mighty poo song and uga buga in Conker and youll change your mind with the mp3 thingy.
What about GTA3? Not only is it incredibly realistic (up to a point,

YOUR NOT GETTING RESIDENT EVIL HA HA HA GTA 2 just came out on GBC.
Sorry just saying that to shut you up and quite frankl;y my favourite PS1 game is RE3 and well thats nothing when compared with classics such as Conker and Zelda.
As for not being fun i didnt mean that PS1 and 2 are fun but in a very differnt way to the mighty N.
As for cooky you leave him alone being biased is no problem i am and he has a point just says it less tactfully i like his style :)
The problem isn't that Nintendo hate Europe, it's that they can't make the consoles fast enough. I'm sure they could do a botch, half-hearted "launch" Sony style and have a very small number of Gamecube in the country before Xmas, but disappoint other's who'll have to wait another handfull of months.

If you want to pay tha extra £30 too then go for it.

That's not going to happen though, there will be a propper launch soon enough - and if it's not soon enough for you get off your bum and sort yourself out with a US console.
