The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

I had to do Yunalesca twice. I was happily smashing in the first form, when suddenly she poisoned my whole party. I managed to stay alive, and take down the second form, but at the end I had healed everyone, and removed the zombie status, so when the third form used Mega-death I felt a little stupid :D

Other bosses I`ve lost to are just the dark aeons. Most of the others in the game are easy enough, especially the end ones if you put the time in. However, the dark aeons are something else (well, if you try and fight them too early). I can beat them now, but when I had only 4000 health, and little in the way of attack power, I didn`t even get one turn before I was taken down. It was impressive to watch, but I was a tad scared :D

No probs Blank, and don`t worry about the spelling slip. Its actually the kind of slip that shows your brain was going much faster than your fingers, so its kind of a compliment (especially if you have quick fingers).

Asher, I`m sorry man! That's well bad! Though it does have one benefit - you can now go back and train up every character, including Wakka. Then when you reach Evrae again, you`ll deck him no problem. Just make sure you stick with the fights. When you think about it, the majority of the time spent in fights is actually the introduction, the final couting of AP and items, and waiting for your first go. Whilst you`re there, you might as well continue with the fight, and get the AP, it usually only takes a hit or two per enemy, tops. Good luck with your next save game!

Oooh! Also, if ya didn`t get the Jecht Shot last time round, then you`ll have the opportunity to do so! Just remember that you don`t stop pushing the direcions when the boxes stop - you have to keep doing it wherever the plain text appears when Jecht is talking. Just keep hammering X and you`ll get the shot, making Blitzball easier, and thus more enjoyable initially (though its way too easy later on).

Same here, it was all down to overdrives. A quick bit of Valefor's Energy Blast, an attack reels, a few other little tidbits, and it didn`t take too long. Its just down to how strong your characters happen to be at the time.

Yes, they`re powerful now... but what I`m saying is that later in the game, when you start fighting in the Omega Ruins, in only a handful of fights, the really weak characters will go storming up the S-levels, and soon be in the same league as your other main three. The main three will still progress, but much slower as they have already had lots of level ups.

If its an elemental attack, see if you can wear some fire protection, obviously with fire eater being the best option. I`m not sure it`ll work against Evrae, but its worth a try, but basically its all down to overdrives. If you go in with all overdrives ready then there really is nothing to worry about. By now, your aeons should be taking off a hefty amount during their overdrives, so it shouldn`t take long to beat the guy.

The lady you need to talk to will be in one of two places depending on what stage of the game you are at.

First possibility - North East of the Calm Lands. As you leave the central save point (with the little shops) head north east until you reach the edge of the calm lands. There should be a woman on a chocobo there. Talk to her and when the option arises, ask to train a chocobo.

Second possibility - As you leave the central area again, instead of going north, head just a few steps south. The woman could be there (again riding a chocobo) so talk to her in the same way as above.

Once you are in training, you only need to complete the first exercise in order to go off to Remiem, but if you want to get Caladbolg up to full strength with the Sun Sigil, then you`ll need to complete all the challenges, including the final race in 0.00 seconds.
