The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

Maybe its just their American pronounciation. Then again, using this method for other words leads to some interesting stuff:

They say Choke-a-bo, not Choc-a-bo as I thought.

Weird, huh, but whoever made them up probably said their name like that. I hate being wrong : )

I was surprised the first time I heard 'Choke-A-Bo'.
I thought it was Chok-A-Bo, maybe voicing was used just so Squaresoft could tell us how everything was meant to be said.

I've only ever deleted a FF7 save, but I'd finished and was gonna start again anyway, so I'm kinda lucky.

Finished FF4 yesterday. I think it's my favorite FF out of them all. The story is like the old knight tales I think, which is refreshing after all the "Big Bad Corperate" skag of toady.
FF9 sort of copied the ending a little bit though. On the moon, them being related and al that.

It's nice to see where all the newer FF stuff came form originally. Chocobos and the battle system's.

Did loads.

Battled through all the hard parts. Finally beat Seymour. Won the Blitzball after 9 attempts just to make Wakka look cool for the rest of the game.

Now none of that counts, and I don't want to play it again.
Deleted FF6 save as well about 3 weeks ago. Jecht must really hate me.

I'm sure slow didn't work on Evrae for me.

I had to do Yunalesca twice I think, but it's a lot easier when you know what to expect.

Wakka's attack reels kick bum.
Especially when you can get 3-3-3 every time 99,999 Damage every time.
Entrust, as you say and keep it up, invincible.

And as long as it isn`t in the Monster Arena where virtually all the decent monsters are immune to slow. Still, the haste thing is always my first move, and as you say, its overdrives from there onwards. (And entrust if Wakka runs dry)

Overdrive, Overdrive, Overdirve, Haste and Slow'll win you any battle.
Just as long as you use them in the right order (and on the right people - Haste/Slow : ))

I found that the best way to beat her was to just go back, and build up your stats fighting the Defender Zs parked outside Yunalescas bedroom. I filled all the overdrive bars whilst I was there as well, and this time ensured that I saved Bahamuts attack for the third form. It was alright when you know exactly what to expect.
