Coding - Me, cjh and ajh. Basically anyone who can.
Site design and layout - Reaper and Tyla. You guys work together on it. Give me a final layout as a Fireworks file and I'll take it from there
Content - Andy/Bob, and everyone else here
We need some webspace, I'll get some at Freedom2Surf once their servers come back online. They're a very good server for what we want to do. If anyone else wants to help out, that's great.
Any more suggestions would be welcome.
I should have the posts in my cache at home and Ill re-post it all when I get back.

OK... They look awful on Mac Gammut, they're too big to accomodate those on 640/480... And they look damn awful when snaped to a web pallet!!
Why so big?
If someone can give me a menu listing I'll have a go at some designs later today!
I though the idea was to give out tech advice on everything from coding to scripting to design... at least make it look like we know what we're doing!!
BTW... I liked the PHP stuff mentioned earlier, with a bit of reformatting it would look good!!
Sorry to go off on one... No offence intentded, and I will get off my ar*e and produce something, I just need to find some spare time at work!!
As for the MySQL host, Bob says he might be able to fit us up with one. If not, there's a website that will let us remotely host a MySQL database.
(ScriptID:[TotalVotes]:[Great][Good][Average][Poor][V.Poor])
(PHP*1*1:[30]:[10][10][5][5][0])
(PHP*1*1:[60]:[20][30][0][10][0])
Then, the PHP Rate Script would work out the Average Rating.
Then, when it was rated, it would be updated by the Script.
But seeing as you know more about MySQL than I do (at least I'm pretty sure you do), I'll hand it over to you, if thats cool??

Thatreally depends on how it's structured. We'll have all the articles in a MySQL database. It will have 3 columns relevent to this: "views", the number of times accessed, "rating", it's current rating out of 10 and "numratings", the number of times it's been rated. Using this info, I can get each article's rating and also calculate new ratings as they are added. Why, how were you doing it?

We'll all have to help on it, you can't make a site of any size with a one man team, expecting them to cover all the areas we plan to include here..
