The more I see of the X-Box, the more impressed I am.
I dont care if it costs £299, so did the PS2.
I can afford that.
I will buy whatever console appeals to me.
Which is why I am bypassing the Gamecube.
Not because "It sucks!" but because I don't have any interest in Nintendo.
Did anyone not understand that? I dont hate the Gamecube, I just have no interest. I dont care what anyone else does, I like the look of the X-Box and think I'm getting one.
I enjoy my PS2 just as much as I thought I would.
I enjoy my PC a lot more, and the X-Box looks like something I'm interested in.

And, personally speaking, I dont care about monopolies in computers, I have an easy to use OS, top games and I promise that 99% of you are using a PC with Windows and Exporer to use this site, so if y'all hate Gates, then get Linux etc.

But I've read all manner of people slamming the X-Box knowing nothing about it, and using the old schtick of "Microsoft suck!!" without really saying why they feel like that.

I have a PC and it's fantastic.
I like the idea of the X-Box and what it appears it can do.
And PS2 is coming with a hard-drive and downloadable stuff, and drivers on memory cards...not that far-removed from a PC.

Is this another one of your tricks to see whether people just suck up to what you're saying? I think Bill Gates is a genius and deserves every penny he's earnt. That's right - he's earnt it. Thanks to him the world is a different place. We wouldn't be able to be doing what we're doing now (chatting over the internet) if he'd never invented what is the world's most widely used operating system. I'm not saying I'm gonna go to America and marry the bloke, but just that he's an innovator and it's changed the world. Big Up Willy G. I've heard the X-Box is pretty cack, actually. Isn't it basically a PC? I suppose it might have some advantages if you'll be able to upgrade it. I'm happy with me little PSOne for now. I bought it because I liked the idea of the little screen - but when they came out, how much?!!?? And you have to plug it in as well!
