I don't hate Microsoft (pls explain, all you anti-Gates monkeys exactly WHY you detest Microsoft, instead of just saying that because it's fashionable to)
The more I see of the X-Box, the more impressed I am.
I dont care if it costs £299, so did the PS2.
I can afford that.
I will buy whatever console appeals to me.
Which is why I am bypassing the Gamecube.
Not because "It sucks!" but because I don't have any interest in Nintendo.
Did anyone not understand that? I dont hate the Gamecube, I just have no interest. I dont care what anyone else does, I like the look of the X-Box and think I'm getting one.
I enjoy my PS2 just as much as I thought I would.
I enjoy my PC a lot more, and the X-Box looks like something I'm interested in.
Now all you Nintendo/Sony Fanboys can flame away and tell me why the X-Box "sucks"
Because I haven't heard one valid reason that stands up to scrutiny.
The thing is, most of the games either don't appeal to me, or I can get on the PS2. Also on the PS2 I can get such games as Burnout, Airblade, WipWout Fusion and The Getaway. Also, Microsoft say that when you but a Xbox, you must buy at least 3 games, and 2 of them must be Microsoft titles.
Halo
Project Gotham Racing (the sequal to MSR)
Dead or Alive 3
Munchs Oddysee
Tony Hawks 2x
Amped Snowboarding
Fusion Frenzy
Unreal Championship
WWF Raw is War
These games above are just some of the games that are unique to the Xbox so you won't be playing them anywhere else.
There are also loads of "great" games that are appearing on the PS2 and PC that are also Xbox bound.
Gran Theft Auto 3
Timesplitters 2
Max Payne
Tony Hawks 3
Medal of Honour 3
Return to Castle Wolfenstine
Final Fantasy XI
SSX Tricky
Not to mention Segas backing:
Jet set radio Future
House of the Dead 3
Shenmue 2
Phantasy Star Online
You know what, I'm sure I've forgotin some other great games for the Xbox, those ones are just off the top of my head. So Shocky and Turbonutter, are you saying all those games are going to be Terrible? Thought not...
Variety is the spice of life, afterall.
> True, but the fact that it has what is possibly the WORST line-up of games ever
> to be recorded in gaming history puts it down slightly. What a load of rubbish.
No way xbox launch games look cool plus there are also a few originals better than the GC where you have no choice of software and same old heroes from the time of the snes.
GameCube only had three, yet they all got 90% or above, and I would get all three of them - why? Because they are all fantastic.
SHOCKY
Are you saying that the GameCube won't have online capability?
Sorry mate, but you're wrong. GameCube will have DVD capabilities in the form of the Panasonic version of GameCube, which I admit is quite far away.
X-box literally has NOTHING NEW about it. People who have a Dreamcast won't buy an X-box for the games, will they? Unless Sega stop making games for the Dreamcast and only create games for the X-box like Shenmue, etc...
Sega will be making all sorts of games for each console, how many exclusive titles will the X-box have exactly, eh? Enough to tempt people to spend £299 on one? Pah, pathetic...
