I don't hate Microsoft (pls explain, all you anti-Gates monkeys exactly WHY you detest Microsoft, instead of just saying that because it's fashionable to)
The more I see of the X-Box, the more impressed I am.
I dont care if it costs £299, so did the PS2.
I can afford that.
I will buy whatever console appeals to me.
Which is why I am bypassing the Gamecube.
Not because "It sucks!" but because I don't have any interest in Nintendo.
Did anyone not understand that? I dont hate the Gamecube, I just have no interest. I dont care what anyone else does, I like the look of the X-Box and think I'm getting one.
I enjoy my PS2 just as much as I thought I would.
I enjoy my PC a lot more, and the X-Box looks like something I'm interested in.
Now all you Nintendo/Sony Fanboys can flame away and tell me why the X-Box "sucks"

I hate microsft because windows is the most annyoing thing EVER.
My new £1800 computer crashes about twice a day.
They monopolise everything and bill gates wears tweed.
If windows worked perfectly with everything and they didn't keep releasing new versions i would be happy with them.

I like Bill Gates. 95% of the Microsoft products that I use are more than satisfactory so I have no reason to dislike him. Who cares if he is a multi-trillionaire, as long as he keeps bringing out products that I like, thatís all that matters in my opinion.
As for the X-Box, Iím still undecided on whether to get one. At the moment I have my PS2 with a number of quality games, which I am very pleased with. In saying this, at the end of the day, I will probably be the proud owner of an X-Box because Microsoft have the money to get exclusive licenses for games and the only way I will be able to play these is if I get an X-Box.
Also, Championship Manager 4 will be coming out on the X-Box :D

OK, I'm definitely getting an Xbox. Just after I get a Gamecube and a few £50 notes.
I think the x-box will be a huge hit. But there are reasons why I dislike the company ideas of Microsoft. Also I don't like the architecture of Intel processors (but I'm not going to go on about that) Microsoft are becoming more like a bank, you don't own the software when you buy it, more like renting it. Which means as times go on and technology improves you will need to upgrade to a newer version which is usually a 3rd larger than the previous version.
Those of us who will end up somewhere in the industy of computing will have to put up with microsoft software, which isn't really great. The problem is with operating systems like Unix or Linux (which are FREE) and also open source(you have the coding for the OS) whereas Windows isn't open source (if it was then microsoft would no longer exist as people would know exactly how it works and copy their idea in places.
I am ranting on and I will stop but there are more reasons why I dislike microsoft. I'll save them for another time.
