Ive just been looking at the release charts and so far there isnt really anything extravagant to look forward to on the cube for next year. The only things that have a little sparkle are f zero and soul calibur but even these arnt blockbusters.

The new mario game looks patheic and to be honest after the last one i am really dam sick of mario now. Mario kart looks like a laugh but at the end of the day thats all it is! a laugh a p*ss around for when people come round ya house. it aint got outstanding gameplay or a gripping story line!

All the games on the release charts just look bland and repetetive. I can clearly say that weve seen it all before just without the slightly enhanced graphics.

The only thing i can safely say that i trust will be good is rogue leader 3 and still that looks a little repetetive and the third person levels dont look up too much!

At this time last year, the titles for this year that we knew were coming out were:

Zelda
Wario World
And that was about it.

Almost everything was scheduled for this year.

And look at how good 2003 has been, and will be even better.

TOo bad I don't have much money.

If it wasn't for the introduction of non-linear gameplay in Zelda, or brilliantly designed worlds laden with different tasks in Mario 64, we wouldn't have today's Grand Theft Autos or Jak & Daxters.

Final Fantasy CC could be a big hit, it looking beter and better each time i see it. other than that i agree theres another Sonic game coming out, if only they could have some skill.

almost forgot, what about the metal gear solid remake, that will be one purchase i will make as the original is one of my fave PS games.

What makes me laugh is when people compare GTA games to other series' like Zelda and Mario etc who made the bloody industry what it is today.

Some PS2 fools will continue to dismiss the GameCube as a console purely because their aren't any action games (or so they say) worth getting on it. I only mention this because I over heard a couple of pot faced freaks in a shop in town today talking about what to buy.
