Timesplitters 2

I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.

So go on what have you been playing? and why?

Zelda: Four Swords. Excellent game. Nintendo haven't failed to impress in the last 4 games now.

Hmm then I used Colette, she is pretty good. The Angel techniques she knows can be quite powerful.

But yeh, Zelos/Kratos are exactly the same, which kinda figures since you can only have the one of them in your party at the end, depending on the story path you took.

Onto Majora's Mask now and I just got the couple's mask. I reckon I'll have completed it by next weekend.

First play through I used Lloyd + Collete + Zelos + Sheena
Second time Lloyd + Collete + Raine + Presea
Collete is actually pretty good as a CPU character and her hammer rain!

XGRA's great. Not as good as the original N64 title ('PlayStation Mode' haha), but certainly worth £5-10.

I read the IGN review of True Crime and it intrigued me. The whole idea of replaying bits to improve your character sounded good and I can see why they thought a lot of GTA fans wouldn't "get it".

As for XGRA, I'm going to get it because, quite frankly, no developer has had the balls to release a futurisitc racer where I can blow the crap out of other racers with rockets.

It's a very neglected area this generation. Last time around we had Wipeout 64 and Extreme G 1&2 (even Road Rash was great, although it had no projectile weapons as such).

When it comes to racing I like to option to blow s*** up. :)
