I'm not bothered about it, but I'm beginning to question why not.

I truly don't like first person shooter frag fests - running around in circles blasting, blasting, blasting - gives me a headache.
I'm not that bothered about racing cars around circuits and coming first, coming last, whatever.

So I'm not interested. Should I be? Am I missing out?
Do I have a blinkered view of the whole online gaming thing?

I don't think I'll ever sign up. Maybe a massive online RPG will sway me like Star Wars Galaxies....? - but it probably won't.

Shooting and racing - that's all I see, and that's not enough to get me interested.

Plus Edgy only played a few games. If you have access to Live whenever you want and have the opportunities to really spend some time on it, get to know some people, add people to your Friends list and so on, then you'll open your eyes to its' wonders.

If you'd have been in the session me and Dark Mark were just playing on Midtown Madness then it would have most likely changed ya mind. It's mainly the Americans that whinge, luckily somehow we managed to get mainly Brits in our game. Some bloody funny people out there.

Played a quick go of Unreal Championship at Dark Mark's earlier - the game's good, but the modes everyone seems to play online just suck.

Midtown Madness 3 was good though - I even beat Tiltawhirl on my first ever go (using exactly the same vehicles I must add :D)

I'm not sure what people are on about when they say Live is more sociable online gaming. It has the potential, but the majority of people seem to do is complain, or say nothing at all...

We suck ass at capture the gold and that rabbit one, nevermind though. Once I've finely tuned the GLAM MOBILE, muther funners won't know what has hit them.

PM, when you take Soldier of Fortune 2 online. Try joining a large elimination game, tis mucho fun once you get into it. Haven't even tried the other game modes yet because I've been hooked on that.

I'm addicted to Midtown Madness 3 online now. Played a truckload of games of it with Tiltawhirl and bunch of other people today including two or three Americans who did nothing but complain about how crap their cars were and whinge about a million other things. Tsk.

Why is no one mentioning True Fantasy Online ? - Newtype Magazine covered a Japanese version of it which they had an exclusive play on and it sounds absolutely amazing, it's a fantastic looking game and could well do wonders for sales in Japan.

I rented Soldier Of Fortune 2 today. Dire single player game, guess I won't be getting it for my GAD. I know Tiltawhirl said Live play was good, and I'll try that later, but to me a game needs both single and multiplayer goodness to be worth getting.

XBox Live is still developing so there isn't a massive amount of variety at the moment. But soon there will be the likes of fighting games, RPG's and of course XSN Sports - as well as chat rooms where you can talk to other gamers.

I'd like to see RTS games get onto XBox Live, but I'm happy with whats on offer already. XSN Sports sounds excellent with its league set ups, etc for the big upcoming sports titles such as Top Spin, NFL Fever 2004, Links, etc.
Plus if the rumours are true, its only gonna be so long before a football game gets online.

RTS seems better with PC, normal people play. I played Warcraft 3 and the guy whose side I was on kept giving me advice, we won.
