Not in time for Xmas.

They've stopped production until Autumn. Which means they'll probably start up again late August, early September to be well prepared for Xmas.

F-Zero GX, Rogue Squadron III, Viewtiful Joe, 1080 Avalanche, Billy Hatcher, Final Fantasy, Killer 7, Mario Kart, Metal Gear Solid and Pokemon Colosseum will sell the console to the mass market easily.

The Q may well have appealed to the older gamers while the cube is either for thos who don't want the DVD playback or for the younger kids!
Wonder if Nintendo will continue working with Panasonic, it would certainly get up Sony's nose!
The Gamecube could finish altogether by Christmas and N5 say out in the summer next year, wishful thinking?
But
As people have said, they can save money by not producing any for the mean time and concentrate on games and the new consoles!
Good luck Ninty!
Microsoft -> Loadsa cash, Doing well in the world except Japan.
Nintendo -> Owns Japan
Microsoft -> Needs to sell Xbox in Japan
Nintendo -> Needs to sell Gamecube worldwide
Nintendo -> In trouble
Perfect.
People (the Big Brother loving general public) want Gran Turismo over Mario Kart, they want Halo 2 in all its kick-ass flashy glory over most things Nintendo produce, and that’s just the way it is.
There haven't been many decent GC titles arriving over the last few months, but I’m looking forward to F-Zero, Mario Kart and all the other AAA Nintendo titles coming out over the next few months, but what’s on the horizon after them? More cel-shaded Zelda that ordinary gamers don’t want and will foolishly ignore because of its cartoonish style, some crappy Pac-Man remake probably with GBA connectivity, or just more innovative games that may be great, but just don’t appeal to people the way Gran Turismo or Metal Gear Solid franchises do.
In terms of console sales, we had our big hopes to boost the system; Zelda was amazing as was Metroid Prime, and I still think the GC has more high quality titles that its rivals, but if a great console with amazing games isn’t doing well then something must be wrong with the industry and those who frequent it.
Lets just hope this super secret “new game product” Nintendo are whispering about is something amazing, and not just some more bloody GBA connectivity crap.
Nintendo do still make large profits (at least I assume they do?), with the GBA and Pokemon they can’t go under, so it’s not all doom and gloom, but I want them to learn from their mistakes. Give gamers dvd playback with their next console, get more decent third-party exclusives that will appeal to both older and younger gamers, advertise more for Christ sake, create some new “faces”, not just more Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, Mario Kart, Mario Party titles, and maybe get Square to create a new next-gen Secret of Mana game. Failing that, fill their games with sex and violence, if it works for others then why not.
So the upshot of how I feel is: Nintendo may not be doing to well with the lukewarm Gamecube reception and gamers want other franchises now instead of Nintendo ones, but they still rule.
But, although I don’t like it, I feel they need a few changes.
