At least Suzuka isn't going to disappear forever. It's going to switch between Fuji and Suzuka just like Hockenheim and Nurburgring. I like Suzuka.
Of course, if Mclaren are totally cleared then it will be Ferrari and all the Ferrari supporters that will be up in arms and creating a stink. One way or another, someone's not going to be happy.
As for the F1, I was impressed by Rosberg as well, and it was good to see Button score again. Who knows, he may even score at Mount Fuji too; Honda are set to introduce a lot of new components to get one-up on Toyota, the owners of the circuit.
Davidson was pretty impressive as well, duelling with Fisichella.
Are McLaren for the high jump? If they are, it'll be a real shame, just depends on how good the supposed evidence is, and what punishment is handed out; justice needs to be done, but F1 doesn't need its championship's name dragged through the mud.
They've had a damn good season - and kept the Drivers' Championship interesting at the top, at least.
Some insane crashes from him this year, really scary
Kovalainen again shows up Fisichella. Button gets a point. Rosberg good again in the Williams.
All we can hope for is that McLaren are allowed to race in Belgium. They could be kicked out of the Championship this season or next, constructors or drivers points or both taken away, a fine or nothing.
It would seem that Ferrari have got potentially a lot more fuel as I don't think the Ferrari is that bad. The more fuel you can carry in the first stint, the quicker the strategy is.
Heidfeld pipping Raikonnen might be a slight problem. Kovalainen doing a good job at Renault, Button getting in the top 10 for once. The midfield battle is so close as 5th to 20th was split by just a second at one point.
Ferrari didn't do anything special in the 2nd session. It's probably not genuine race pace but could be a concern. Most cars were a second slower in the afternoon which would suggest more fuel.

Although McLaren themselves are the ones who instigated it to 'clear their name'. Unfortunately, it now seems that, according to papers, Alonso may have had an email from De La Rosa with some info from Coughlan (a good friend of De La Rosa) containing Ferrari specs etc.
Seems strange that this has come to light just before the hearing for McLaren. Someone seems to have a good sense of timing when providing the FIA with more 'evidence', nothing to do with Ferrari, I'm sure, as they don't ever play dirty...
