Just a thread to discuss snooker if anyone else is a fan like me.

Selby wins the first 2 frames of the day to close the gap up a bit but I think Higgins will take at least 3 to put him 3 or less from victory.

Higgins has certainly recovered better after his semi final exertions. Selby looked a little lost by the end of play.

Looks like Higgins will be in pole position tomorrow. Maybe I overestimated Selby to win 10, but we'll see. I don't want to see a one sided final to be honest.

Well, thats 6 in a row for Higgins, like I said, Higgins will trounce Selby.

I'm guessing 6-2 Higgins this session, Selby looks exhausted.

Both players looking a bit jaded but Higgins fought back from 3-2 down to lead 5-3 heading into tonight.

What a rubbish final. Higgins will trounce Selby about 18-10.

What a fabulous end to the match! Murphy looked like he had it won on the pivotal 30th frame when he was 71 points ahead with 67 left, giving up a 6 point foul and a free ball, Selby fighting back only for Murphy to steal it for 16-14.

A fantastic fightback from Selby to tie it up 16-16 and then Selby makes a wonderful break leaving Murphy requiring snookers. Murphy's poor safety lets Selby finish the match.

Higgins V Selby in the final. 2 big draining matches for Selby and I just hope he has something left or Higgins might run over him.

Fantastic match between Higgins and Maguire and what a wonderful comeback from Higgins. 14-10 down to level at 15-15 and then win 17-15 in a nervy frame.

It's a war of attrition between Murphy and Selby. We could be in for a late nighter if it goes on the same way. 12-12 at the end of the session.
