The 20th frame was the turning point in the match I think. A long frame with lots of tactical play and Maguire took it. Maguire built on that and leads 14-10.
Selby played a bit better today but was a little jaded near the end of the session and the match is now 8-8.
Higgins has it all to do tomorrow afternoon.

The Maguire V Higgins match is certainly a better spectacle then the Murphy V Selby match.
Higgins finally took the lead at 7-6 but they've finished 8-8. Split both sessions 4-4. This has the potential to go right to the wire.
The winner will definitely come from the other semi-final.
Murphy will be kicking himself. Selby wasn't good and somehow he is only 5-3 behind.
It's good to see Maguire finally playing like he did when he won the Uk Championship in 2004. Since then he hasn't really recaptured that form but he was brilliant in the last session against Hamilton. Now that Ronnie's out I hope he wins the tournament and I think he will give Higgins a good game, although I still expect Higgins to win the match and the final.
Maguire raced into a 3-1 lead and could easily have been 4-0. Higgins got it back to 3-3 and then it got a bit tactical. A 45 minute frame with 15 minutes of opening safety before a ball was potted led to a Higgins opening but a miss let Maguire in. Higgins lost the frame but won the last for 4-4.

Higgins / Maguire at 3-3 at the minute I think it'll be close but I expect Higgins to get through and then win the final.
I tried to stay up to watch Carter vs Selby to a finish but as I was up at 7 I didn't see the end.
I would never have guessed these would be the final 4 and I'm predicting a Murphy vs Higgins final with Higgins winning it.
