You got to have respect for a company which will not bow to 'style over content' tactics. Which relies on quality games over 'cookie cutter' crap and is so damn pig-headed that it's way is the right way that it actually deserves some kind of strange respect.

I just felt like saying that.

My Xbox is used for LIVE, FPS, Racing games and the very best of multi format games (a la Colin McRae 04). Cube is used for Resident Evil series, almost all Nintendo developed games and one of my favourite developers at the moment Silicon Knights. My PS2 for Devil May Cry, Tenchu, GTA games and the odd exclusive which catches my eye (like Victorious Boxers).

I meant there are 25 games at that I think deserves to be called classics. Not that there are 25 coming out I want, I dunno how many I want, I just wait and see what turns up.

Its ridiculous to even contemplate wanting 25 games for one console and ever since I picked up my Cube in January I started to see how wrong I was before. When I got my PS2 a month a bit a go I just couldn't believe how stupid I had been. At one point I wanted about 70 Xbox games. 15-20 of them will actually be worth something and the others will be just little stocking fillers that are good to rent or buy and trade within a set period of time.

10 games for one console is a sheet load when they are of decent quality. I own 10 Cube games (all top exclusives) and thats before Twin Snakes (which I couldn't believe someone said it was going to be a flop), Mario Kart, F Zero GX and Pikmin 2. Getting 25 games for one console is bull sheet to me now as there aren't 25 top exclusives worth getting for a console. Of course that is now I have the chance to get exclusives for other consoles but even still 25 games is crazy.

I'm not a fanboy, I just have an opinion. Of course I know there aren't 50 tactical shooters on the XBox, I'm trying to make a point that they rely on one genre with countless titles, thus simulating a PC in some way. Plus the fuss made over Buffy was just stupid. It's a terrible game, which I hate, but yes, that was a petty little gayboy comment ;-)

I want the best console out and to me the Cube is, maybe it's because online doesn't appeal to me, maybe it's because I prefer the Cube's games, or a mixture of both.

Okay, now can you see I'm not trying to say the XBox is crap. All I'm saying is that the XBox doesn't have a very good XMas line-up, in my opinion, and there aren't enough games to make me want to buy it.

I would buy a console if it had about 3 games I wanted. That was what I was trying to say.

I was in fact actually using Rickoss example to prove his point to Hedfix.

In that Hedfix said 'Hah, ONLY 10 Xbox games?!', as if that is easily enough (which it is) completely missing the point that Rickoss said he wanted 25+ games for his Cube, therefore giving the Cube just a tiny bit more weight in his opinion.

Its something that I myself when acting like a pr*ck used to say before I realised that there are other consoles out there with something to proove.

I could say I want 56 Xbox games because thats the list I have down. However I will only get 15-20 of those games because the rest will be utter tosh.

Same with me. I'll get an XBox when I want enough of the games.

And I have Broadband. At the moment, KOTR is the only game that interests me more than normal.
