Xbox LIVE though will still have more users than those using GBA link up with a Cube. Rightly so as well. Xbox LIVE is as good as online gaming gets despite the fact you don't like online gaming. I have no objections to decent peripherals but the Cube is void of a killer peripheral like Xbox LIVE or the Eyetoy.

You seem to miss the extra functions the GBA player contains... it's like a card game where you know stuff your opposition doesn't.
It is a lot of fun.
And my Dad has an X-box and I just don't like the idea of online gaming... I've played a handful of games on the LIVE system and it just doesn't do it for me. Neither did Phantasy Star Online for the Gamecube... neither did any online game for the Dreamcast...
Online games are not my cup of tea in fact I think they're utter crap.

Dringo I seriously doubt you have even played an Xbox in the last few months never mind Xbox LIVE. I HAVE used the GBA connectivity on Metroid Prime and it was like hitting myself in the face with a giant brick after playing something far more advance in every way. I know you are talking about other functions like mulitplayer etc but why the hell would I revert back to that with the likes of SSBM and Halo around with excellent multiplayer modes? I simply wouldn't and I know many more in the same boat.
Anyone who seriously thinks GBA connectivity is better than LIVE either hasn't played LIVE or doesn't own an Xbox.
I may be guessing here but don't you fall into both those categories?

Im saying you dont have to pay a fee over and above the retail price. Furthermore PC games are more heavily discounted than console games.

Then use servers which exclude cheaters, im sure there will be numerous servers which run with PunkBuster enabled. The only way you can get countless errors these days when installing a game is if you use abuse the disc.

2: You are obviously getting me mixed up... the extra downloadable content for certain games are mainly there to sell the idea. What I am talking about is the connectivity function that is used for WHOLE games. Pacman looks like the best but I haven't played it, four swords with its hidden room function on the GBA and character specific maps are the future for the Gamecube... it is very very very fun.

Just finished on Counter Strike and 3 servers running I met multiple cheaters. Last server I started calling him a pointless tw*t etc and he uses a lovely little tool to stop my character from moving...

Not only that but the fact you need to spend money on getting your PC upgraded etc and you have to put up with countless errors and total ass holes and with all that put together you have a package fit for a tramp.

£40 for the gear and you still have to pay full price for the games. And not everyone has a lot of money you know.

Erm £40 for all the gear you need... Need a bank loan for this mother... You buy games specifically for LIVE because they are awesome to play. I wasn't a fan at first but have played it more, a lot more recently and its unbeatable.
