1: I never said Nintendo did give a s**t but please note that Nintendo do pump a lot of money into European research... there just a bit thick about it... being Japanese and all.

2: You think the GBA connection sucks? My friend play four swords and you wouldn't believe how wrong you are... it really is fantastic on the Gamecube... most addictive game I've played for yonks.

3: I'd say the software shifting money making monster that is the GBA player was Nintendo's best prephiral...

But whatever.

I don't agree with the GBA/GC connection focus of recent, but it has to be said it would be great if you had the time. No doubt it would work in Japan, otherwise Nintendo wouldn't have even considered it, but it'll be much harder to do something like that in Europe or America.

FF:CC looks absolutely amazing and no doubt a hugely immersive experience when linking up, but a lot more people in Japan own GBA's and Cube's, NoJ just don't realise that things are different in Europe and America, which does make you doubt their judgment in some respects. Still, I trust them to make the right move.

Stop being blinded by Nintendo, its beyond a joke. They don't give a sod about the European market and all we get is the bloody balls GBA connection ballax which renders some of the extras completely useless to the majority of people. PS2 has Eyetoy and the Xbox has the Hard Drive couple with Xbox LIVE and custom soundtracks. The GameCube has a shoddy GBA connection peripheral...

Enough said.

So making a loss on money because it doesn't appeal to the normal european gamer and scrapping a monkey making monster that is helping rescueing the Gamcube is the way to go?

Then they must be tards in Japan and America as well who will also not be getting the idea.

Look you all seem to forget that Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of America are run by Nintendo of Japan... it is the biggest problem. If western sales of Gamecube products went into the American or European devision then the Europeans and Americans can handle it themselves. You see Nintendo of Japan decide what is released, whether it'll sell well, the amount to spend on advertisement and where aswell as release dates.

Nintendo of Japan are genius' just not in the western world. NOJ have managed to near enough level with Sony twice in the last year, trounce Microsoft and control at least half the software chart week in week out. They sell their biggest games with specialist promotions with the console and they invented the GBA player that has the best system in Japan. They have also signed deals with EVERY major Japanese third party with exclusive titles of their biggest selling games appearing on the Cube.

But the Japanese should not run the western side of things... you need westerners to be totally independant of NOJ aka Sony. But sadly that isn't the case... and it'll take Nintendo a good while to get to grips with the unpredictable market. imagine, an independant NOA or NOE... we'll get exclusive EA games, ubi soft titles and Eidos titles because Nintendo will talk with these companies ala the Japanese ones... and we'd get successful advertisement campaigns etc...

Saying Nintendo are tards is ridiculous... as you can see they are brilliant. BUT they need to give their western devisions more freedom with what they can do.

Dringo.

I am liking this idea muchly. Doesn't say how much games will cost but why the hell don't they scrap the bloody GBA and make something like this in Europe. It makes perfect sense and it would appeal greatly to those who are on a tight budget but want another console to support.

Nintendo are complete fack tards when it comes to Europe though so no chance of getting it here.
