This should be arriving for me tommorrow (I hope).

I shall let you all know what its like and if its worth it, but based on Hitman 2, it should be brilliant.

Especially firefights down New York streets, with all your resistance fighters against hordes of Sovs.

Co-op was the only real reason I got the first game.

I'll have to play it some time to see.

In the vid I got, the animation looks waaay better.

Some were pleased to see more of the same but I was pretty disappointed to see it was almost exactly the same. A couple of new moves (a roll across the ground) and slightly improve enemy AI along with better handling vehicles is all they have done. I didn't enjoy the first enough to want to go out and get the second, especially after seeing how similar it was.

Its the same reviewer for all 3 versions.

The demo I have of the PS2 version is only 80% complete and in places you can see why this is. Graphics aren't as smooth as I was expecting but apparently in the Xbox verison they are pretty tip top.

CDS2 is like an add on pack and I was shocked at what little they had done. I didn't enjoy the first enough to want to go out and get this and that is why I opted for FF instead.

So why is the PS2 score higher? I think it is......


Meh, it doesn't really change the gameplay, and Cube games look damn sweet enough.

Oo, and thats on PS2. Cube and XBox versions should (but probably won't) look a bit more tasty.

I just want a game where you get incredibly over the top, large scale explosions and gun fights while running crazily around lobbing grenades.

I shall also get CDS:II for the same reason (minus OTT explosions) and the yells of 'TAAAAAAAANNNNNNNKKK! HASTA LA VISTA BABY!' and 'DIE MUDOFU*KER!!'
in co-op.

KOTOR is the mutties nutties. Play it of prepare to feel the force :)

I have just rad the Xbox version review which got 9.3 (don't know why Cube version got 9.2) and I am wetting myself with anticipation.

CDS was good, very good in places however I fealt the enemy AI was ballax and your team didn't help it either. I can tell you this in advance (from the PS2 demo) that the AI of both sides is possinly the best I have ever seen.

Characters duck behind bins and walls and follow a routine of checking round corners etc on a regular basis. The demo is excellent and when you raise the flag at the end it feels like you have achieved something despite the fact you have just ordered your team to gun placements and provided covering fire for 90% of the time :)

Stop playing KOTOR!

I do think Gamespot gave it high marks simply because you are liberating New York against the Soviets.
