Has anyone had the mod chip & 80 Gig Hardrive upgrade fitted yet?
apparently you can dump entire games to the drive for faster accsess!
I need more speed! and room for the music i've dumped to disk, only got 32000 Blocks left now! anyone know how much is too much? before it affects the games your playing? may have to buy another XBOX! probably down to a ton by Xmas anyhow
If Jim truly can arrange 16 player Ghost Recon without LIVE then all the best to him, at minimum that's 4 games, 16 joypads, 4 consoles, 4 televisions, and a big ass room. That's feasible.
Chipping is illegal and has no legitimate (not legitimite) reasons except for self deluded people.

You tell em' Jim! These guys will never understand the ligitimate reasons for chipping XBox and increasing its HD capacity.
As for internet access, that does really come for nowt! Suckers…
You lot realy should take that butt plug out.
Tsk.

Ah, but does JimTopBloke know that?
All my other games run via their proper installations, which requires the discs.
As for the Xbox discs - with the exception of one which I bought pre-owned, there ain't a single scratch on ANY of my discs. That's the same with my music CDs. My very first CD is still in mint condition, and I used to play that a hell of a lot!
So, if you're getting damaged discs, I blame your utter lack of self control when it comes to handling them - even a retard knows that you hold a disc by the edges and always keep them in their cases when not in use.
Just for the record I have NEVER* used any pirated games software on any console or even my old spectrum! (*well maybe on my Atari ST that is when copying / piracy really started to take of! Think AMIGA, think a disk virus plague!)
I do however liberate music artistes of their tunes before I pay for them, if they are good then I go buy the music from a legitimate source. If they are not then I wipe em out. Try before you buy…
I intend to use the HD upgrade for greater capacity for more tunes & dump my legally owned games to the HD so I don’t have to arsed with the disk, they can be a bit fragile sometimes, I’m sure most of you do that with PC games, like the man says, I can do what I want with my own stuff...
