apparently you can dump entire games to the drive for faster accsess!
I need more speed! and room for the music i've dumped to disk, only got 32000 Blocks left now! anyone know how much is too much? before it affects the games your playing? may have to buy another XBOX! probably down to a ton by Xmas anyhow

Titty, who said anything about downloading games? Why waste time downloading when you just install them off the DVD, which can be acquired one of several ways?
I've had mine modded and upgraded so that I can install games to the HD; works a treat. What you end up doing is replacing the standard start-up interface with a "developers" version, which lets you install the game to the HD, but the beauty is, it doesn't ask for the DVD ever again.

had my trusty xbox since day two, yep i paid 300. yep i got the free games, and the controler AND the dvd remote (little bit of blagging involved there...) yep its been fun, now its full of quaity tunes. DAM THE MACHINE!!
