"How fantastic is skies of Arcadia?"

Despite naff graphics I am loving this Skies game. Picked it up along with 3 other games (see my £50 in cambridge thread) for a mere £19 and I can't imagine a closer RPG alternative to Zelda. Vast, expansive, encourages exploration and a deep story. In fact as storylines go it moves at a far faster pace than that Wind Waker game.

Great game, feels a bit like Starfox to play (not quite sure why) but of course i mean that in a good way.

If you can find it buy it. You won't regret it. Roll on Skies 2.

How many random battles in this game?

I guess it's great when you want to just level up, but trying to get around doing the game is a nightmare!

And my SP meter is at 99 - I start every battle with 49.

When I won, Vyse (who was the highest level) was 49... Other people ranged from 46-48...

And even at that level the final battles didn't seem *that* hard. Especially after beating that Zivilyn Bane King person (or whatever he was called...)

No, they don't have a threesome, although I'm sure Vyse does some sweet talking (i.e 'inspiring') on Fina and gets it on.

It does really get annoying, if I were Aika I'd have pushed him overboard a long time ago.

Out of interest - does Vyse have threesome with Fina and Aika at the end? He was laying it on pretty thick before we left Cresent Isle near the end.

Getting ready for the final bit now.
I may as well get everyone to level 99 before I go. Vyse, Fina and Aika have learnt all the spells with Gilder only red, blue and silver to finish off.

I'm fighting the black looper in the rift right now.
7,500 exp a pop! Not too shabby.

Oh! How I laughed at Galacian's super-evil move. What a build-up, and then it took 1,500 off me.

Just completed the game today... :D

Needless to say I shall be playing through it again at some point in the future. Brilliant game, I didn't want it to end!
