Good Morning All!

Moderators and non Moderators alike, lend me your ears! (or eyes in this case!) With all the recent stress and aggravation caused by the JA's, we at Freeola are wishing to know exactly what:

A) Moderators - what would you like to be able to do, to be able to perform your jobs more effectively?

B) Regulars and chatters - What would you like to see Moderators able to do, to be able to help protect the forums from spammers and abusive users? Or do you think they currently have enough power?

Once we know exactly what you want to be able to do on here, without having to worry about alerting us staffies all the time, (although we should always be lurking to take action) we should be able to make this a better place to be.

I'd like to be able to delete posts by N00bs in the same way as I can regulars, but for whatever reason that doesn't work. And remove threads. Outherwise, it's fine as it is.

Moderators should have to sit and pass a standard intelligence test to keep their moderator status. :0P

If you want, you can reduce the 24 mods to just 5, but you have to let us create new forums when we want.

I have a great idea for a forum. Infact I'm sure it would become the second most popular forum on here =)

Though I still think we should be able to bar JATs from our forum.

That depends...

1. was it just in the one topic - if yes - delete post
2. All throughout topic after topic after topic and forums - yeah ban why not, its not contributing to anything.

Oh I see, you lot mean 'global banning'.

Hmmmm, in that case I think two mods should be needed to ban a poster outright.

If a Moderator changes/edits a first post made by someone or deletes a thread, we get notified near enough straight away.

I'm happy with a "3 strikes and you're out" system to ban JATs and Newbies, but not regulars.

The staffies can check the next day whether the JAT who posted
