Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Well if it's any consolation, I had to get BT out when my Pipex account was activated, engineer turned up, plugged in laptop, had the same problem even though they said there was nothing wrong with the line.

He trundled off to the exchange, 1 mile away, and 45 mins later it was sorted .... I think that means he plugged the line in :(

A mention for Saturday night, must be a special occasion. What happened to being okay for Thursday?

Just had a call from BT. If I don't get it sorted tonight they have booked an engineer to come to the house on Friday afternoon so no matter how frustrated I was last night Freeola must have acted quickly this morning so I'm impressed again (yes, I know, I'm easily impressed:))

Forgot to post last night that, as well as having to listen to their very annoying messages every 3 seconds, I got cut off after 40 minutes. THAT'S what got me so very annoyed.

Yeah I'm feeling ok thanks, stomach seems to have calmed down alot, amazing what a trip to the doctors does, think you scare the illness off :)

Still on toast and soup for today and no beer (doctors orders) but I can live with that for the moment, as long as I'm ok for Saturday night!

Heads fine thanks. Couldn't really drink too much as I had to drive to work this morning.

I wont be trying any tests until I get home tonight. I'm sure I'll be back on here moaning if I can't get any joy.

Took me a while to find the keyboard this morning under all the papers that accumulated in my absence. It's always a down side of having a day off :)

Well from that description, I'd hazard a guess and say you :P

Very strange that your not getting anything, have you been able to try the BT site which you can get onto without a username and password?

Also on your router / modem / frog - [depending on what you've bought - do you get any sync light appearing? This is basically saying that the router has err synced with the line and is getting and ADSL signal down it.
