No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

I havent seen it saying it does. Been on a few websites, and they say its a DVD region changer.

Well ask him to show you it in person. If region-x could play american games, they would advertise that it does. But they dont advertise. He could be lying, if you see it working on a bog standard UK PS2 and a bog standard region-x with a proper american PS2 game, then I think everyone would agree that region-x does allow import games to be played.

Have you seen it work?

you can do it and theres a code or something on the official site for if it is not working
that is what i thought

so either he is lying or some thing
Maybe you can. But its never been advertised too. So if it could they would want you to know about it. There isnt a menu to actually select a region for the games. I havent got a import game so cant test it, but if it doesnt say you can play import games on the box, then I would have thought you wouldnt be able to.

cool, anyone got a definate answer if it does?

if it was that simple every one would do it
