Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

If it did play import game titles we would of heard something by now, new codes are made all the time but a dvd region breaker all of a sudden being able to boot import game discs is unlikely :-(

Region-x uses DVD regions. Game regions are different.

Hopefully you can find out the truth. If you can see it working then that will be good. As otherwise if you take his word alot of people on here may import games and find they dont work.

If longy sees it working then i'll will believe it, or if I see a web page that says it can, but until then I wont.

I had a mate who lied like anything. He said to me nearly a year ago that he had played on the full version of Metal Gear Solid 2. He also said he played on a PS2 when they had first come out in Japan. We asked what was it like, and he said "I've only seen the box". Some people like lying about things that others cant have for a while.
