No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Its probably the old version then. The old versions had there own memory card type device. You had to use that to get region-x to work. I have the same type of device for my action replay 2 V2.

With old(maybe new) versions of region-x you got a memory card type thing to use. I have one for my action replay 2 V2. My action replay 2 V2 is the same as the region-x but also contains the cheat codes.
Games dont use DVD regions so chosing region 1 in

meant to say wouldnt play. not would play.
it says if it says "disk could not be reed" or

Those codes update the DVD software. As sony always update the PS2 certain models dont work with region-x. These codes updates the region-x software so it can be used properly.

Thats what I would have thought. There are 6 DVD regions while only 3 game regions. We share the same game region as Australia yet DVD regions, we have 2 and they have 4. Games dont use DVD regions so chosing region 1 in region-x would mean that it would play a American game.

What codes was he talking about?
it says if it says "disk could not be reed" or something like that and it gives you a code that you can put in, you just press select and you can put in a code
