I want to know if this is going to be a full-blown RPG? Like the Final Fantasy's of old.

I'm thinking of getting it y'see.

Nope, I've read that multiplayer can be played using four controllers. What purpose would a GBA serve other than as a screen for stats? The main game is played via the GameCube and therefore the multiplayer is designed as such.

Honestly, how ridiculously stupid would it be to create an RPG with an intregal multiplayer mode and then make it dependent on a ludicrously expensive handheld that not a lot of people own?

Wait, wait, wait.

Somebody find official proof you can use 4 NORMAL controllers for multi-player and I'll buy it, no question.

Yeah, that was what I'd heard.

I'm all for bonuses based on GBA connectivity but demanding it is out of order. Shame on you Nintendo! :-P

no, to play multiplayer, you NEED to have gameboys.

I was fairly excited when I heard that it was like Secret of Mana, only in 3D.


The thing is, if you need GBA's to play the multiplayer then forget it.
I've got a GBA, but it's awkward having to charge new batteries for it so I NEVER play it unless I'm on a car journey or somewhere else where it's the only gaming option.

What's more, buying 3 more and the link up cables isn't worth it for that.



Perhaps you don't NEED it, they just RECOMMEND it.
Even then, I'm not looking forward to a 3D game that was designed with the clumsy D-pad rather than slick analogue controls.

apparently it has voices, but she cant remember if it is when characters talk, or just in FMVs/cut scenes

no, you need to use gameboys to play it in multiplayer(my friend just told me...and she's played it)
