Goldeneye is still THE DADDY of first person shooters, and Fifa 99 is as good as Pro Evo 3 for its playability (not graphics though). WWF No Mercy is still the best wrestling game out there, no contest, the smackdown titles dont even come close to its prowess.
I still like my PS2 but the N64 is just, well, more fun!
Someone please tell me why it is so good, then play FIRE PRO WRESTLING (the true best wrestling game ever).

Rare seem to be having internal problems at the moment. Last I heard was that the original game had been scrapped, some bits kept and was being rebuilt. It was going all cell shaded and was due for launch of Xbox Next.
We'll see.
Problem is, sometimes a poor game demands you to play through a crap section which is probably what Tribute was on about.
Perfect Dark's variety wasn't such a problem.
Infact, it meant that the gameplay stayed fresher for longer.
I found Halo's gameplay sort of samey unless you used vehicles.
Didn't spoil the game as such but it does give Perfect Dark the kudos.
And Warthog roolz!
Games would get boring if you did exactly the same thigns oevr and over, a bit of variety is always needed.
If you want a different style of gameplay, get a different game, sucker
