I'd prefer it if they just made it into a nice free roaming third person shooter with a 4 player death match and a bot or two.
Failing that perhaps inject a bit more realism into how the tasks are approached.
and 'cos I'm a sucker for stats all the characters should be rated by some sort of stats system which you can gain points on.

I haven't gotten around to VC yet but I find GTA to have a lack of depth and an arcade approach (Go and fetch 20 hookers before the time runs out? Oh REAL evolution of gaming there!)

MGS2 = biggest pile of overrated hyped up waste of £40 in my opinion!
Knights Of The Old Republic (XB). Boredom personified IMO.
