MGS2 is pure class and is absolutely brilliant, by far the best game on the PS2. I think that the most over-rated game is The Getaway, it is slow paced, has too much swearing some is ok but it just goes too far, has random pornography in it and is just generally boring.

No. Final Fantasy is not like Pokemon, it's the other way around, pokemon is like Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy 1 was released in 1987 while the pokemon cartoon itself was released in 1996.

yet again i can't agree there. the zelda games were brilliant. they made good use of an old fairy tale story line, but didn't make it uterly childish. OOT required skill, it was a long game, but best of all it was actually a fun game. not one of the oh so common adrenalyn junkies feed, which constitutes as a best selling game these days. WW is still a fun game and is a good mix of the old and some new.
for me FFX was far too linear, pokemon like (i only new pokemon at the time) and had characters that i seemed to build up a hatred for. i can see why people got hooked to it, basically because it's like pokemon. and that was "quite" popular, no?

Do you mean that you don't have mgs2 ? If you don't then buy Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, and if you have sons of librty, then don't bother buying substance, buy the Twin Snakes.
