Me and Rickoss were arguing which of the two Zelda's of the N64 was better.

I firmly think it is Ocarina of Time.
He thinks Majora.

Discuss.

I'm hoping that in the next Zelda, Wind Waker 2 or whatever you wanna call it, that it will predominantly based on the events after the Wind Waker. I'm hoping that the great sea dissapears, being drained down through drought, giving way for vast amounts of land. There would be enormous vallies and tall hills with frosted peaks. As gerrid said, the method of travel would be bird. This would mean for highly intense air battles with enemies, and spiralling roung mountains.

I just can't wait for the new Zelda, and I think that the great sea COULD just be a flood, waiting to be drained. I certainly think its a possibilty.

I'd have to say the cutscene from OOT when Link grows from a young infant into a teenager would have to be my favourite scene. It was something of cinamatic genius. However, this has since been bettered by some of the stunning cutscenes from Wind Waker. For instance the short clip near the beggining, where you sail off, leaving your grandmother crying on shore. A real choker. Or possibly the first time you meet Gannondorf with Princess Zelda, and each of you three has a trifore shard.

I know, I just thought Ocarina had more, and I really was not a big fan of the 3 day rushing that was majora's Mask, not to say that it wasn't fantastic. Ocarina of Time just felt like IT, if you see what I mean, it felt like the original and best N64 shooter Goldeneye, it felt like the original Mario Kart in all its glory, the original Mario 64 as opposed to Sunshine.

I found that Majora's Mask, whilst still having everything a great adventure game needs, was lacking slightly over the even more superb OOT, and i'm rather surprised that most people on here prefer Majora's Mask.

Both were amazing and i think majoras mask followed on from Ocarina just magicly! Ocraina of course was the larger game and really gave you a sense of heroism as you crossed from one side of the world to the other in order to save Hyrule. However Majoras mask had a much better atmosphere. There was a real sense of community as you could do things that were possible in a real town. Go buy a lottery ticket, post letters, help out with the locals problems and even go to the bar during the evnings for a bit of a sing song!

each game has their best bits! My favourite in Ocarina was when i felt that i had explored pretty much all of the map an was setting out to look for the last sage. When i stumbled across the dessert into the oasis and saw the massive sweeping shoot of the temple that was standing infront of me, I t just made me realise the sheer scale fo the game. It got even better when you had to change back to little link to get in!

My fave bit from Majoras was bringing spring back to the mountains and taking part in goron racing! pure genius!

So what are everbody elses fave parts from both games?
