Me and Rickoss were arguing which of the two Zelda's of the N64 was better.

I firmly think it is Ocarina of Time.
He thinks Majora.

Discuss.

Wind Waker was indeed after OOT and MM.

Now as for the second, flight is a cool idea... but I hope they keep the same emphasis on fun gameplay rather than epic story...

Maybe a more epic story? But the battle system must be the main emphasis.

At the end of WW Link and Tetra sail off to another land...

That is where I presume the next adventure takes place.

There wasn't any real rushing about it...

If you run out of time you go back to the start of the three days...

It isn't like Pikmin.

Is there a website which can back this up?

Windwaker was after ocarina of time. It said so in the opening cut scene that was styled like the bayeaux tapestry. The plot was that after Link saved Hyrule from Ganon he then travel to Termina and didnt come back when Ganon broke out of the void of time. The people then relied on the gods to save them, however to prevent gannodorf from causing anymroe chaos they just flooded Hyrule. Now in the future the charcter that you play is actually just Links spirit reborn.

Don't forget though, Wind Waker was actually before Ocarina of Time in the "timeline" of Zelda's, so perhaps Nintendo couldn't go too overboard, as it wouldn't fit in with Ocarina of Time. Obviously though, OOT has a significantly better plot. I think the next Zelda will hopefully play on the importance of a plot more.

you didnt really race aginst the clock though! You learnt two songs fairly early on which allowed you to speed ahead or slow down time completely. I think the first couple of days as a deku scrub forced you to act quickly however for the rest of the game you didnt really have to look at the clock. It certainly kept the pace high which really slowed down after completing the forest temple in OOT.

yeah taht was a great bit, especially when you wernt expecting it! I think the windwaker cutscenes could have been so much better if the story driving it was alot thicker and developed. I mean the stroy just seemed a bit last minute compared with Ocarina which had clearly had hours of time spent on it.

You're looking for the collectors edition, Edgy is selling it on this very forum with a figurine. Alternatively they do sell on eBay for around £15/16.

SR might do it in a limited edition pack too...
