Panasonic's 64MB SD Memory Card -- $99.95
Panasonic's 32MB SD Memory Card -- $59.95
Panasonic's 16MB SD Memory Card -- $39.95 (this price is falling and will be cheaper than 8 MB memory cards on the PS2)
Look at those stats! I mean a 16MB memory card for cheaper than a PS2 8MB. It begs the question why do Sony charge so much? Well becasue they can and get away with it.
Back to the stats the size is due to Nintendo's dislike for memory cards so buy one and never ened one again!
2GB and 4GB are bigger than GC games for god sakes! Why do we need memory cards with more memory than the games and stamp size as well! This is also further proof that they may make Snes games on them or looking at the size 64 games!

Exactly. What's the point in releasing a 4 gig memory card? It's utter madness, also considering the GC will probably have a HDD.

I'm sure that Sony won't bother. Why? For $99.95 you get a 64mb memory card. For £99.99 we get a 40gb hard drive which, I might add, has a far superior access speed. Personally I don't see why you're arguing.

Apparently the reason is that you could download SNES or N64 games onto these cards. Well, excuse me for saying the obvious but for the price of a GC and these cards you could buy a SNES or N64.
Also, the access speeds would be stupidly slow. Another thing. 4 gigs in that amount of space has got to use compression. Stay away if you ask me.
