Panasonic's 64MB SD Memory Card -- $99.95
Panasonic's 32MB SD Memory Card -- $59.95
Panasonic's 16MB SD Memory Card -- $39.95 (this price is falling and will be cheaper than 8 MB memory cards on the PS2)
Look at those stats! I mean a 16MB memory card for cheaper than a PS2 8MB. It begs the question why do Sony charge so much? Well becasue they can and get away with it.
Back to the stats the size is due to Nintendo's dislike for memory cards so buy one and never ened one again!
2GB and 4GB are bigger than GC games for god sakes! Why do we need memory cards with more memory than the games and stamp size as well! This is also further proof that they may make Snes games on them or looking at the size 64 games!
Well I'm stunned I need a sit down (oh I already am)
What do you think? Outageous, Memory cards bigger than games and over $300 for 4GB you could by 7 or 8 games for that!!!!!!
Wow well thats Nintendo and panisonic for you.

Shigsy is a developer a games developer but he designs the controllers and helps the console and why... Because he doesn't look at system restrictions that the PS2 and X-box will have if he want a blur effect (which is a GC special effect) then he'll ask them to put it in.
With the PS2 and X-box he has to make games around the system but wi the GC he makes a system around the games which is why Nintendo are so good. Like The 64 contoller it was designed for many purposes but but had Mario in mind. Which is why Mario felt perfect because it wasn't made to fit. Like a pair of trousers if it a little big you will still buy them but if Nintendo cut it so it fits perfectly.
He probably had Mario or Zelda in mind when designing the GC's Controller but also made it for universal use.

That's true. But they're changing so much to

Its never gonna happen. The only thing that keeps me loyal to nintnedo is the flagship titles such as ZElda and Mario. To see these on another console would destroy the image of nintedo for all true nintys.

That's true. But they're changing so much to try and make the GC a success, maybe this wouldn't be such a stretch now as it ma yonce have been?

Why not? If their console is that good, it shouldn't matter.
Or is there a concern that if they made the same game for all machines, the other consoles versions would be better, meaning that no-one would buy their own machine?
Sega are doing it. If they'd done it all along, they may not have had to withdraw from the hardware market.
Unlikely as it may seem, *if* Gamecube isn't the success they hope it will be (and be honest, no-one knows for sure), then going multi-platform may be their only option.
You don't know me as well as some of the others, so let me just say this: Yes, I am a Sony fan. No, I have nothing against Nintendo or Sega (ask the others), and no I don't relish the thought of either company failing. Consider me Sony's equivalent of Meka.
> becasue that would mean making games for sony.
Which would make them lots of money. Is that a bad thing?
Remember, Nintendo only have themselves to blame for Sony's success.
