256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, and finally 4GBs

Panasonic's 64MB SD Memory Card -- $99.95
Panasonic's 32MB SD Memory Card -- $59.95
Panasonic's 16MB SD Memory Card -- $39.95 (this price is falling and will be cheaper than 8 MB memory cards on the PS2)

Look at those stats! I mean a 16MB memory card for cheaper than a PS2 8MB. It begs the question why do Sony charge so much? Well becasue they can and get away with it.

Back to the stats the size is due to Nintendo's dislike for memory cards so buy one and never ened one again!

2GB and 4GB are bigger than GC games for god sakes! Why do we need memory cards with more memory than the games and stamp size as well! This is also further proof that they may make Snes games on them or looking at the size 64 games!

Well I'm stunned I need a sit down (oh I already am)

What do you think? Outageous, Memory cards bigger than games and over $300 for 4GB you could by 7 or 8 games for that!!!!!!

Wow well thats Nintendo and panisonic for you.

Because then they don't sell any consoles maybe we should start from the beginning,

Nintendo want to make the Gaming world better with less loading times and smaller systems

Sony have advertisement

Nintendo makes their own games and keeps themselves alive

If Nintendo made games for Sony Nitnendo will eperish and long loading times and huge systems will rule

ok.

As these memory cards are for a wide range of products, i doubt the 4GB cards will be used for the Gamecube.

No, it wouldn't be great because there would be hideous loading times, and we all know every Ninty has an allergic reaction to them.

The sizes are unbelievable. But it would be great if we could get games on our memory cards. Part of the reason though that PS2 cards are so expensive is not just the Magicgate technology but that they are money grabbing, um, so and sos.

Er... do i see people attacking a SIMPLE post about memory cards, and playstation owners get all jeouls and attack dringo AGAIN for it!

Just accpet it, nintendo do have good points as well as sony, there is no point in tring to knock everything that nintendo. FOR pete's SAKE NINTENDO DESIGNED ALMOST EVERYTHING ON THE PLAYSTATION 1!!! (controller, CONSOLE)

END.
