Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift

Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.

If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

REC 2 : really liked the first one,this was a total let down though.Obviously the makers are deciding to take the series off in a different direction (can't really elaborate without spoilers).Anyway,thought it was daft TBH with none of the atmosphere and tension of the original.A disappointing 6/10.

Ninja Assassin : It's stupidly violent,has no storyline really,makes little sense at times and the main Ninja is played by some Korean popstar and yet I loved every daft minute of it.It's a piece of crap but it's the most amazing piece of crap I've seen in ages.It's like Ronseal made a ninja movie,it does exactly what it says on the tin.80's ninja legend Sho Kosugi is in it as well and he is a real badass.US Blu Ray is available now and is not region coded so will play back in any player.The DTS-HD soundtrack has to heard to be believed on it,sounds amazing.Guilty pleasure of the year so far for me 8/10.

Sad, and depressing, but it is a really good movie.

This has got to be one of the wierdest films ever about someone going on holiday to a cottage with his insane flat mate. First film in ages to actually make me laugh and is definately worth a watch.

N.B. This film is probably about 30 yrs old so don't expect the constant explosions that you get every 3 min in some of the newer films :)

Law Abiding Citizen 5/10 : Thought it was a bit daft TBH.

I saw The Hurt Locker recently. Excellent.

Soloman Kane- Suprisingly moderate. Rent after releases, not worth £7.50 cinema prices.

But I just love garbage like that mate !.I laughed through most it,it was epic.They should make more Hammer style films IMO,they were fun.

Battle Royale : Hadn't seen this in a few years,felt it was due a rewatch.It is subtitled but its a top film IMO.Track it down if you haven't seen it 9/10.

Boondock Saints II : Pretty much the same as the first one TBH.Crap but watchable crap 6.5/10.

I really disliked the Wolfman pete - i would have to give it a 5/10
