Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift

Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.

If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

Just seen the new A-Team movie and Toy Story 3.

Toy Story 3 was good but maybe not as good as TS2, but the kids loved it so I can't complain.

The A-Team was actually better than I thought it would be, a good all round action flick. Only thing that bugged me was they messed up the van, they made the top half black instead of silver, and crushing it was just wrong....

wow Once were warriors a new zealand film very solid has a captivating story line that tickles your emotions very brutal and sad

Streets of Fire

Just about wore my region 1 DVD out of this film but I fell over it recently on Amazon released on region 2 at long last so I now have 2 copies of this film.

Girl (Diane Lane) gets kidnapped by a gang of bikers led by the wonderful, superb, stunning (young!) Willem Defoe. Girl's ex (Micheal Pare) gets called back to rescue her. Girl is a singer with a mouthy agent (Rick Moranis) who has to take the ex to where girl is being held as he knows the area and the ex takes along help in the form of an ex soldier (Amy Madigan).

Streets of Fire is a rock 'n' roll fable. Acting isn't great, dialogue can be a little wooden, based in a dark fantasy urban area, musical score by Ry Cooder, throw in some Jim Steinman, mix it all up and out comes a little known gem. Couple of lovely fight scenes in there...

Has a cult following on the QT though never made it into the mainstream as The Rocky Horror Show did but this is one of my favourite films.

No gore, no sex, no swearing but a little violence all pushed along by it's excellent sound track.

Also bought the CD and it is never out of the car.

I want to dance on a bar! You'd need to see the movie to understand :)

I'm biased so this has 10/10 from me

The first two are great. Saw the third and just thought it was just a gore fest. Didn't like it. Stopped watching it from there.

Ended up watching Fight Club a few weeks ago. Can see why everyone was on at me to watch it. Great film!

I watched Saw and Saw 2 last month. I thought it was great! I preferred the first to the second and at the minute i am looking merchandise from the movie.

Oh it's The Condemned. Looks interesting.
