Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift

Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.

If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

imdb has Princess and the Frog as a 5th February release for the UK.

I watched The Secret Life of Bees this morning. I'm thinking back on it now and I'm not sure what to make of it. I was half asleep at the time as I don't do mornings.

Has The Princess and the Frog come out yet? My kids are desperate to see it.

Bit of a landmark being Disney's first black princess, they've worked with Oprah to make sure that they get it right and don't get accused of racism, basically trying to make up for the past.

I think Disney have had a lot of stick for their past, the company made some terrible decisions but since the company now is a million miles from what it was, surely it shouldn't be tarred with it's past mistakes?

Yea i was watching it in the cinema and it was not great lol. Very thankful i had my unlimited card for that one!

Yeah it was slow,but I thought it was reasonably well done and I always liked the original story.Would probably have been bored watching it in the cinema though.

Star Trek 8/10 : As a 'non trekkie' I actually enjoyed this much more than I thought I would.Worth a rent at the very least.

Sherlock Holmes 7/10 : Enjoyable enough nonsense.Not a classic but a fun popcorn flick.

Gamer 5/10 : Pretty pants tbh.

The Condemned 6.5/10 : Crap,but watchable crap.

Dorian Gray 7/10 : Pretty slow moving but not that bad,seen a lot worse.

Orphan 7.5/10 : A bit of surprise,much better than I was expecting.

New Town Killers 6/10 : Average British chase thriller,not terrible but not great either.

Avatar - the 2D one. Thought it was excellent.

Where the Wild Things Are - absolutely brilliant. Gonna be watching again for sure. 9/10

The Lovely Bones - One of the few movies I've been really excited about seeing. Still can't make my mind up about it. I liked it but.. little disappointed. Probably because I had too high expectations. Visually though, it's beautiful.

Four Christmasses was alright actually. One of those movies that has something for everybody (or at least tries to).
