Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift

Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.

If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

Nah, it's awful. I liked the setting but the actual story and pacing are a total 'meh'.

Finally got to see Hurt Locker over the weekend,thought it was good.Perhaps not as amazing as some had led me to believe but worth a watch if you haven't seen it.HD audio soundtrack was amazing on it.Gets a 7.5/10 from me.

Kick Ass : Absolutely bloody brilliant,go and see it ! 9.5/10.

Zombieland : Bit like Shaun Of The Dead meets Left 4 Dead.Thought it was pretty funny,worth a rent IMO 7/10.

Harry Brown : Better than I thought it would be,bit like Death Wish with an OAP !.Again worth a rent 7/10.

If you do get chance to watch it Emmie,let us know what you thought of it mate.I rented Hurt Locker over Christmas and my Mrs. wouldn't watch it.She doesn't do war films.We ended up watching some crappy rom-com instead,which was so memorable I can't even remember what the hell it was !.

I returned Hurt Locker unwatched,have to rent it again now.

Got Hurt Locker on Blu Ray, i might watch it tonight if i get time!

Dead Man Running : Danny Dyer pushes his acting ability to the limit as he plays a cheeky cockney geezer.No way that guy will ever get typecast he is just so diverse !.Anyway,50 Cent is in it as well as a hard as nails bigass gangsta but the film is pretty lame.Looks a bit like something you would expect to see on CH4 about 10PM on a Wednesday night.Not great 4/10.

Jennifers Body : Megan Fox looks very nice in it but the film isn't amazing 5/10.

Anyone else seen anything recently ?.I mentioned Triangle a few weeks ago,that's out now and worth a rent IMO.Probably check out Hurt Locker next,still haven't seen that.
