I could go through your post and correct it but seriously whats the point? You have your faith and I respect that (even admire it). Yet I have my belief that you'll never accept anything that challenges your faith in any way shape or form thus its just wasted effort on my part.
Yet..this seems to be at the core of what you're missing.

No it doesnt. Mutations occur in the replication process. Thus the mutations exist and the original exists too. Thus natural selection has its new genetic material.
