Don't think it would be a bad thing so long as microsoft kept the nintendo infrastructure and designers and fused Microsofts gaming employees into the Nintendo structure which is far more established in the gaming world. Giving Microsoft the nintendo brand and ingenuity with its vast resources and the elite of its staff. If it was like sega just integrating to build games and crappy add ons for the xbox then no.

Personally I wouldn't be too pleased if Microsoft bought Nintendo.

If Nintendo and Microsoft do a joint project - great!
If Nintendo buy Microsoft - great!

But as I've explained before, Microsoft buying Nintendo would mean the beginning of the end to great games from Nintendo.

Obviously, the the probability of Nintendo putting themselves up for sale is quite slim
