Really, really, really was the business wasn't it.

I remember when it came out - everybody wanted to play it - girls I knew, guys I knew, Playstation owners, ANYone with a slight interest in games, they wanted it.

Screw the Goldeneye/PD debate, this is about eulogising PD.

Seriously, it was just class. The sheer amount of stuff you could do. You could waste hours just chasing people with remote mines, making them do all kinds of crazy stuff......anything.

That villa level in multi with double Cyclones and 8 DarkSim Elvis's. So damn fun.......ANY level with ANY settings was genius, and the single player was terrific. The challenges, the weapons, the enemies, the difficulty balance, the single player - the Datadyne levels rocked.

I need to get it again, I actually never bought it, just had it very extended periods of time from a friend, who was clearly insane.

mmmm The best levels were still teh old Goldeneye ones. Complex with Proxys, Temple with Devestators, Facility with Pistols and one hit kills. The final levels of the game were quite poor, as shooting aliens is, without exception, no fun, but the storyline advancement more than made up for it. That Air Force One level, and the level in the snow before it were actually excellent, as were the DataDyne levels. I remember thinking that the Villa was the best level I'd seen in any game ever, it was so realistic.

Shame they never released Perfect Dark Zero, which was originally one of the Launch titles for Gamecube. probably would have been top of the charts, even in front of Luigi's mansion (which can i say is rubbish).

Indeed.

N-Bombs were hilarious.

You could get so mashed and spun out, and some goon was out there with a Devastator or a rocket launcher and just blew you to hell.

I WANT IT AGAIN.

I just remembered the Devesator's sticky mines that bounced and then blew up when they were triggered.

WAA!

Annoys me that games still leave this option out. As soon as you do something wrong on most games the level ends which makes me want to punch things.

Stupid designers, they just don't understand how the majority of gamers want to play.

Sniping at the villa was class.

Best thing about the game?

When you failed a mission, you could still do whatever you wanted to. Like GE, but still, class.

Ravine, my special weapons set, 3 mates and 8 Perfect Sims, 4 teams.

Ouch.

The Grid has gotta be the greatest deathmatch level in any game.

Only thing that dissapointed me was the time challenges, they just weren't as much fun as the Goldeneye challenges. Oh and the aliens sucked.

Sniping at the beggining of the Mansion level has gotta be one of the best sniping sections in any game EVER.

I loved messing around on the Airforce 1 level just shooting all the guards and knocking their guns out of their hands stuff.

BEST. GAME. EVER.
