"Impressed by Killzone"

Saw some videos of this a while back, and despite the hype of the supposed "Halo-beater" - that wasn't even finished, let alone out! - it looked a bit ass. But some more recent videos show that they've sorted out choppy framerates, and now it's looking excellent. Might have to keep an eye on this one...

I played the demo and I dind't find the game cool, real guns,
real soldiers, some fighting for they're country.

Jeez Darwork I was merely adding a different opinion based on previous experiences, no need to cry about it.

I'm not saying how good it is, just how good it "looks" from what I have seen and read.

how's that then? Go and play it first.

I am juding the game on the 300mb video collection from GameSpy Founders club, all the information I have read about the game over the past few months, information from a friend who has played the first two areas of the game and by the awesome weapon animations ;)

That is of course if that was directed at me...

Has anyone actually played the demo or are people going to continue posting their ideas about what it will be like, based on absolutely no solid facts at all?

Cos all the reports i've read say it's a cracking good laugh (which backs up how I felt playing the online beta)

Because it's meant to be good, so you kinda don't want to believe that it isn't.

I did the exact same thing with Red Faction.

Why would anybody do that?

Killzone appears to me to be one of those games that will have 'amazing realism and a real sense of involvement' without actually being any fun.
So it'll get 98% in magazines and you can all play it, pretending your enjoying yourselves.

i gotta admit the disscusions in the ps2 forums have been a bit bland recently. it will get better though.
