I'm not sure.
Will the formation be the same and will Owen return to the squad or not?
Again not sure.

Seriously though, at the moment McClaren would be most likely, as he's in the set-up. But, the same as Curbishley, what has he done as a manager? They've only been at one club, with much lower expectations. It's impossible to tell how they'd do as England boss. As positive and attacking as Newcastle were with Keegan, we barely scored any goals when he was England manager. I think we need to look at how a manager approaches games, how he prepares the team, how he can adapt tactically if things aren't going well, how he plays to his teams strengths, and picks out the weaknesses in the opposition.
But no, give Sven the chance to put it right... maybe he should listen to the pundits.
Who would be the shortlist of sucessors? There's no way the FA would pick another non-English manager next time. So we've got...
~ Allardyce
~ Curbishley
~ McClaren
~ Redknapp (bit out of left-field that but it could happen... :-D)
There probably are others but I can't think of them right now. Out of that list I'd probably go for Curbishley.
Legend.
> I'm sorry, that's just wrong. Young didn't cross the ball in once.

Now all he needs is to cross the road without holding Beckham's hand and he'll be a real man.
> I thought Luke Young was really good in the 2
> games looks far more dangerous going forward and much more solid in
> defence then Gary i love David Nevile!
I'm sorry, that's just wrong. Young didn't cross the ball in once. Neville is an excellent crosser of the ball.
Despite only managing about 10 games in his career, im sure he could whip these clothes horses into shape!
