So, what do you guys think of them? I got their first album, pretty awsome. If you don't know who they are, they're the band with three former GNR members and 2 other people.

They're pretty much the only Rock N Roll band in teh world though, so yeah, he's probably right.

Axl was extremely angry at a lot of things, good bands need that sort of thing. How many bands have gotten crap because they've made a heap of cash and lost their anger/passion? A hell of a lot.

Guns and Roses truly died when Slash was replaced by "Buckethead", the single gayest band member ever
I never said they were rubbish, just that the lead singer was a scrawny little dog. Slash is a legend. He makes VR less crapm with his insane guitar solos. The best music is that with good guitar solos in it.

I liked Contraband when I first got it. It was a decent album with no majour downsides, but it also had no breathtaking moments on it either. VR aren't as good as Guns and Roses were and in a way the're showing their age.
You could say there are too many solos on the album seen as ome songs have 2 or 3, but it wouldnt feel right having Slash playing a song without a solo.
To sum up. I like VR, they are a decent band. They are no way near the best, but you could do a lot worse.

Mmmm, yeah.
Being brought up with Steve Vai, joe Satriani, etc., i'm definetely into instrumental music, and the more solos, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
