So, what do you guys think of them? I got their first album, pretty awsome. If you don't know who they are, they're the band with three former GNR members and 2 other people.

No you don't. You have the 'I'm a bitter music journo - I'm so much better than you' opinion that's really very common indeed especially in publications.

Oh and you see bands for their image not for their music which really does lump you in with the journo scum of this world.

I think mine's quite a common one too, it's called 'I don't listen to anyone's opinion, I make my decision based on the music from the band I have heard: regardless of whether they're popular or not'.

Instrumentally its fair enough but when there's lyrics too it makes the song a bit overcrowded I think.

Slash OWNS. Velvet Revolver are okay.
I love guitar solos and don't really see the problem with having one in every song. But then again, I listen to a lot of instrumental guitar music, so I'm used to (and really enjoy) constant soloing.

I didn't stop to see them, I walked past the main stage and then decided to go to the second stage and watch something good.

Download highlights:

"We're the best rock and roll band in the world"

If that's not arrogance then I don't know what is.
