Metallica have a lot of forced anger but it never strikes me as genuine, they're just playing up to people's expectations and they're not very good anyway.
G N'R on the otherhand actually had some decent material to shout about, atleast at first and you can always rely on Axl to take it one step too far.

There's so many fantastic ones.
Even the one from Bloc Party can play some tricky stuff.
For me it has to be Hendrix, Clapton or Dimebag

Check out some heavier music, guitar parts that take so much more skill to be able to play, and to me, it sounds better.
Beats the hell out of another of Slash's dull riffs followed by yet another boring solo.
