more like an 7-2-1, they just man-marked, a tactic which is Boring....... I still stand my opinion by that campbell's goal should have stood against portugal and they targeted rooney. I think with our tactics we would have beaten greece. They fluked it. look at them now, losing 2-0 at home to andorra in the world cup quals.

The only thing Greece has ever made fashionable is Kebabs. And Karagounis... my god, he's class on Evo.

Wasn't it Greece who made it fashionable? Somehow Everton being the start of any trend doesn't seem right to me :-D
I blame Everton for bringing the 4-5-1 into fashion. It's the most defensive and unadventurous formation there is and I hate to see Liverpool, with their ridiculous wealth of excellent attacking players (Garcia, Kewell [shh], the Djib, Morientes, Flo, Gerrard & Riise) playing it.
